This is the fuselage under construction.

Basically it is a box, tapering toward the tail

The ply skin carries most of the load in the finished fuselage.

This is the aircraft, as I found it in Toowoomba. The woodwork was complete, it needed covering, engine installation and all the other details like radio, controls, wiring and plumbing

The Lawson/Squires/Ware

years to In March if 1994, Frank Rogers sent plans with the serial no 05 -18 to Newton Lawson who then lived in Coffs Harbour on the NSW coast of Australia. He and a partner, Les Squires began the project. The serial number of the plans set is 05-18. Frank Rogers advises that the original plans were drawn in the late 80s and early 1990, then sent to our friendly CAA for their approval and blessings. It took them about 2 1/2 grant it, simply because amateur build aircraft had a rather low priority, for which they apologised.
